Artist Bio
Anne Cornell paints and draws in a rural Appalachian Ohio. As the director of the Pomerene Center for the Arts she is committed to making art an integral part of community life. Anne is married to stonemason David Kridler. They have three daughters: a violinist, one going to the Peace Corps in early 2008 and one college bound in fall 2007.

Artist Statement
I am in love with color, the movement of line and more recently texture. I am often captivated by how things/people/animals incidentally arrange themselves -or find themselves arranged. Equally appealing to me are the stories we tell ourselves about these arrangements.
