NO TIME TO LOSE! The physical plant of downtown Coshocton could well be a prototype for Traditional Americana planned communities. In collaboration with the community the Pomerene Center is working to capitalize on the asset of the overwhelming pleasantness of our downtown to help create an environment for growth.

Coshocton has a well-documented arts and culture history and a deeply rooted citizenry: because of this it is fitting to bring together history, arts and culture in recognizable ways to set new courses in development.

A thriving, multi-use public space at the heart of Coshocton will demonstrably increase downtown's attractiveness, usability and reputation regionally. It will be an economic asset and social anchor-point. We believe the old Park Hotel lot serves as a symbolic call to arms for all those with vision and energy to offer.
