Artist Bio
Esther Marie was born in Santa Monica, California. At the age of 3, she moved with her family to Nevada. Memories of her childhood in the mining towns of Copper Flat, old Ruth, and Riepetown inspired her to paint western, Indian, and wildlife scenes.
She has received numerous awards for her still life paintings of Indian pottery and beaded moccasins. Her favorite medium is watercolor, which blends itself beautifully in creating earthtones, giving her paintings a mystic Spiritual warmness from her Soul.
She is a member of Women Artists of the West and the Coshocton Art Guild. Galleries representing her works are Becky’s Gallery in Coshocton, Ohio, Chimayo Trading and Mercantile in Chimayo, New Mexico, Tribal Treasures in Victorville, California, and North Main Gallery in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
