Admittedly we made the mistake of over-emphasizing the effect of Irish Traditional Music on American Mountain Music which like so much of what is truly American is a total mashup, in this case of Anglo – African – German – Scotch-Irish and maybe a little Irish music.Ā Ā (Read about the Scotch-Irish Ā here.)
