With an eye for detail and a passion for the nostalgic and western themes, Karen travels where needed to document and if possible photograph the history of the West and the American Cowboy. Her paintings reflect the respect of those who sacrificed to build their dreams in our Great Country.
She was born and spent most of her life in Ohio
and had for twenty years worked as a freelance artist while rearing her two children Shannon and Adam. It wasn’t until the late nineteen nineties she was able to embrace her first love painting. She began working on style, technique, composition and the strength of color.
