Young Artists, want to make a room full of elves?
YOUNG POM ARTISTSāa room full of elves led by Anne Cornell & select visiting artists for young artists grades 7-12 Thursdays, 4:30-6pm & Saturdays, 12:30 – 2pm Ā Oct. 30-Nov. 19 $5 in (per day) We’re throwing out an idea to young artists who are not kids anymore but who aren’t always acting like adults either…in other words…tWeens…who love art and want to be together with other peopleĀ their age who love art. Idea: AĀ ROOM FULL OF ELVES at the Pomerene Center = lots of people coming in for holidayĀ sELFies! We’ve noticed that a lot of young artists are accomplished at drawing. A Theater Play Date for preschoolers
Itty-bitty POM THEATRICALs led by Mary Yaw McMullen & Anne Cornell for children 2-5 years old 9 wks | Friday mornings, 9:30-10:15am Sept. 9 – Nov. 18 excluding 9/29 (CCFair) &10/28 (Halloween) $45 (limit 8 children) a theater play date for preschoolers Itty-bitty POM THEATRICALs isĀ a weekly play date for preschoolers atĀ the Pomerene Center for the Arts where childrenĀ areĀ encouraged to discover and express themselves throughĀ movement & voice and “sets,” costumes & masks they create. Family members are welcome but only required to stay if the child is still in diapers. ON YOUR MARK, GET SET…DRAW THOSE OLYMPIC MOVES
Young Pom Artists Club for kids grades 4-8 limit 10 kids Wednesdays, 11:00am to 1pm, $5 per wk Summer Session Starting June 8 thru July 27 led by Anne Cornell with guest artists including Mary Yaw McMullen No matter what your cartooning/drawing style, it’s important to be good at drawing figures ā you’ve got to be able to capture the moves. So in a sense, this is a figure drawing camp with an emphasis on developing your own style.
