A bare 5% of the oak for aging is new, the lowest elevation site is 1500 feet. The nose is elegant but heady, with notes of nutmeg and allspice, black raspberry, leather and dried herbs and dusty earth. The palate is bound with tightly knit tannins and loud acidity.
