The northeastern flank of the hill of Corton lies inside the commune, which means Ladoix quietly owns grand cru ground: parcels of Corton and Corton Charlemagne in Hautes Mourottes, Rognet, Les Vergennes, Clos des Vergennes, and Grandes Lolieres carry a grand cru name that never mentions the village they grow in.
