Federico Faraone’s family has been growing Montepulciano and Sangiovese since the 1930s
so truly organic farming is still rare in the heart of the region
intended to be bright and refreshing with a nose of strawberry and cranberry
Walter Scott Sojeau Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024 Region:Willamette Valley lime and lemon curdWalter Scott owns no vineyards, but Sujeau is as close as they get to an 'estate'. Looking straight east at the Van Duzer Corridor, grapes here handle plenty of weather through the growing season, and the resulting wine is fully formed. Nicely structured, lengthy tannins, with forest floor, strawberry and floral accents, this is the most 'complete' wine of the set.
