In Hinduism he is known as the one who is beyond fear. In terms of iconography, Kal Bhairav can be shown in a variety of ways with differing aspects and symbolism however, a very common feature is his crown of five skulls. Here he is shown in a six armed form holding various ritual objects, surrounded by flames.
