Sealionne Willamette Valley Chardonnay Halcyon 2023 shiraz This is Piedmont’s wildestA Field blend from Dupee Valley Vineyard (McMinnville) Abbey Road Farms (Yamhill Carlton) and Little Button (Chehalem). Aged in 69% stainless steel, 27% neutral French oak and 4% new French oak, on lees for one year with weekly battonage. Proper Chardonnay is all about finding the perfect balance point between slow developing flavors, creamy texture and fresh cut acidity. It's not easy to hit that mark, but this is what happens when a winery nails it.
