Michelle Reply August 22, 2023 Hi , I feel so sorry for all of us going through this , I wa diagnosed with Stage ) Non invasive DCIS , But after fir Lumpectomy , I had positive Margin and I became stage 1 invasive DCIS , Had a second surgery , Nod Biopsy , All came negative , 20 sessions of Radiation , Now I have to start Tamoxifen and I am scared , I cant stop thinking about all the serious side effects that come with it , I am 49 years and my doctor told me that I need to take it maybe a bit more that 10 years , I know by heart this is wrong , With Tamoxifen you prevent one disease , Then you invite other cancers and diseases to your body , I do want to have quality life , I just dont want to be alive
