Application Required Click to download artmaking team application We’re recruiting a team of 7 community members from throughout Coshocton County, ages 14-80, to work with comics/graphic artist Julian Dassai on the design of a large public art piece titled “Little Social Histories.” With Julian as mentor, the 7member artmaking team will create graphics telling little social histories of downtown Coshocton in the context of the old and now vacant Selby Building (400 block Main Street).     Painting quilt squares on barns started in 2001 when Donna Sue Groves painted her mother’s favorite square on their tobacco barn in tobacco barn in Adams County Ohio. An astonishing 900 + squares followed in 18 Ohio counties and 16 states, creating Quilt Barn Trails that have inspired countless folks to explore our national agricultural landscape.     Last hurrah for the world’s 1st root ball park

    as part of  the 2nd Annual Coshocton Crow Homecoming November 9, 1-3pm  in the PARK space 300 block Main Street, Coshocton Ohio The PARK space, summer home of the World’s 1st Root Ball Park, is the designated venue for the 2nd Annual Coshocton Crow Homecoming, November 9, 1-3pm.  It seems appropriate to take the opportunity to double up and let the party serve as a “last hurrah” for the root ball trees before they leave their cushy bean bag couches and become part of the planted urban forest. After November 9th the Pomerene Center for the Arts will turn the 19 Root Ball trees over to the Coshocton is Blooming…
