    Drawing your way through your adventures

    CHILDREN,  FAMILIES May 11, 2023 Thursdays June 6-27 & July 11-25. 10am. — Inspired by Harold and his purple crayon and other young travelers, we’ll draw our way through adventures on paper, boxes, fabric, walls & walks with pencils, chalk, clay & paint. (What? You can draw with clay & paint?) Each week a new adventure! Join us Thursday mornings in the artPARK. Make sure to register below Children will create a sailboat installation high up on the gallery, a scavenger hunt for other kids, and go home with their own sketchbook and adventure tattoo sleeve.     All Together Now

    We love making art all together “now” Parades! That’s something people come together for! register below Thursdays June 1 – July 20. 10am. Children grades K-6 are invited to join the Pomerene Center for the Arts in the artPARK. We will work together, bit by bit, to create a people sculpture parade for the community to enjoy throughout the summer. Along the way we’ll make musical instruments, flags and other things and become event planners for a 4th of July holiday bicycle parade. For the adventure of it, the fun of it and for inspiration we’ll be taking a bus to Cleveland Saturday June 10 for a fantastic carnival style parade…

This year’s Summer Library Reading Theme is “Oceans of Possibilities.”  Considering possibilities and oceans, we’re wondering “What if Coshocton was in the ocean?”  “What would it be like to be under so much salt water?
