Coshocton Artist Gallery Show 8/19 – 9/21, 2012 Opening Party Sunday, August 19, 1-4pm Entry deadline – August 3, 2012 (deadline passed) The Artist Friends of the Pomerene present the work of 25 Coshocton County artists at the 2012 Coshocton Artists Gallery Show. The exhibit and opening party on Sunday, August 19 are free and open to the public . The opening is a “walk-in” event complete with home baked refreshments and charcoal drawing, jewelry making, leather working, and weaving & spinning demonstrations by Dan Ott, Jessica Rohr, Jon Mosier and the Spinners & Weavers Guild respectively. Fingerstyle Guitar Workshop
Sunday June 24, 12:45-2:45pm, 2012 Tim Farrell–known for his musicality, exceptionally clean technique and his attention to the details of melody and tone–will lead a fingerstyle guitar workshop at the Pomerene Center for the Arts, Sunday June 24, 12:45-2:45pm. Workshop participants will help steer the direction of the workshop through questions and individual interest. The workshop is offered as part of the 1st annual Guitar-In with a special performance by Tim Farrell featuring his new Custom Signature Guitar. listen to Tim Ferrell Guitarists of all skill levels are welcome. Guitarist Tim Farrell is on tour showing off his new Custom Signature Guitar built by Paul Woolson and we’ve invited him to play on the Pomerene Center Saba Terrace at 6pm, Sunday June 24th, 2012. Coshocton has a rich guitar culture that includes many exceptional musicians, collectors and the internationally known Wildwood Music. Why should Tim be the only one showing off guitars?
