    Summer Jazz Party # 3

    August 14, 7-9pm. TWO HITS AND A MISS–Samantha Servais, Donovan Charles and Daniel Barrett Jazz, dancing, wine, croquet. Tent, huge old pin oaks, gracious lawn. The closing act of the Summer Jazz Party series=the newly-formed trio Two Hits and a Miss, performaing music from Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra to swinging versions of old favorites. We packed the house during the holidays for  BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE (Samantha Servais & Donovan Charles).  Baby it’s not cold now. We suggest the classics and standards of Samantha Servais, Donovan Charles and Z. Daniel Barnett will cool you down.     MS. ANNE’S PRESCHOOL CAMP–BUILDING LITTLE HOUSES Join us for our 3rd annual Reggio inspired art camp. August 10-14, 2015 9-11am @ the Pomerene Center for the Arts Limit 8 preschool children ages 3-5 Friends of the Pomerene $45, Guests $50 ask us about our need-based scholarships. What makes a house? Rooms, windows, doors… Could we make a house? What would we use to make a house? Sticks, sheets, boxes…Where will we put it? Under the tall oak tree, in the bushes, on the big lawn…Will it be big enough for us to go into? These questions will lead to more as we will build and paint and explore.  Joyful play.…
