    HiFi Rendezvous| Friday, April 5, 7pm Genre: jazz standards Suggested donation $10 Nick Schmitt (guitar vocals), Ken Brode (drums), Caroline Heading (piano), Tim Pence (percussion), John Lindig (bass and alto Sax) Fri, April 5 at 7pm–The Pomerene Center welcomes hometown band Hi-Fi Rendezvous for a musical eveningĀ dedicated to keeping great jazz melody alive and well. Ā The band listens to–among others–Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgersald, Saragh Vaughn, Nat King Cole,Monk, Duke Ellington, Tony Bennett,Stan Getz, Bill Evans, Jobim. A little tidbit about their history with some Coshocton history thrown in: Hi-Fi started as Whitewoman Street Jazz in 2008.     April 27, 2013 | $50Ā (for friends), $55 (guests) 9am to 4pm Presented by Artist Friends of the Pomerene Limit:10 adults. Registration required. Deadline for registration is April 19,Ā  2013. Come as a beginner or with intermediate experience. This soft pastel workshop will emphasize the importance of design as defined by light, shadow and pattern. We will practice handling the medium, attaining edge control and effective color blending. Mary will begin the workshop by demonstrating her technique followed by plenty of personalized attention at your easel.
